The dollar quotations in Argentina, including the blue dollar, official, and other types, show variations in a context of stability in the financial market. The BCRA reports a positive balance and growing reserves.

Net purchases in January totaled USD 1,748 million, resulting in a positive balance of USD 24,009 million in the BCRA's coffers since Luis Caputo took over management on December 13, 2023. Additionally, international reserves reached USD 28,307 million.

The blue dollar remains stable with a quote of $1,200 for buying and $1,220 for selling in the currency exchange offices of the City, while MEP and CCL dollars trade between $1,166 and $1,180. Meanwhile, the official dollar is at $1,033.50 for buying and $1,073.50 for selling at Banco Nación. The card dollar stands at $1,395.5 following changes in perceptions decided by the Government.

The exchange rate gap for the informal dollar is around 13.64%, with different quotes for various modes of buying and selling foreign currency.

In relation to other financial institutions in the City surveyed by the BCRA, the official dollar shows variations in its quote, being $1,073.50 for selling on Banco Nación screens.

Regarding stocks in the market, investors are opting to take profits in 'big tech' stocks and increase their position in more conservative and less volatile papers. This movement has intensified since late 2024, with the emergence of DeepSeek being a factor that has accelerated the portfolio rotation among investors.
